[TCB jeans "S40's Cords JK" 40's Corduroy Jacket]
The popular war model is now available in corduroy fabric.
The original material for this jacket is the third type, but it was released as a war model to make it easier to coordinate.
Even though it is corduroy, it has a T-back design from 40 inches, and is made of 85% cotton and 15% polyester corduroy fabric with 14 wales, following the vintage style.
The dyeing is reactive dyeing, and it slowly ages at the same speed as denim, aiming for an atmosphere where the puckering of the seams turns white.
The details of the war are the same as those of the S40's. The vintage that TCB owns is a rare item with the pleats at different heights.
From the perspective of the manufacturer, it is thought that the place where the pleats were to be sewn was marked, and the person who sewed the left side sewed upwards from the mark, and the person who sewed the right side sewed downwards. Regardless of whether this is true or not, it also means that it was not rejected during inspection.
I feel like the background of the time is apparent in these parts, such as requests from the Material Control Bureau/Price Control Bureau to comply with new standards and changes in personnel situations due to wartime.
Compared to the traditional 50's Jacket, the armholes are a little looser and the length is slightly shorter.
It has a slightly more vintage-like fit than previous TCBs.
